John Eakin (pronounced A as day) will be available in our Tech Consultation Program during the festival week.

A serious artist, John is the much sought after “go to” guy for teaching digital imaging to filmmakers and still photographers working in the motion picture industry. If you’ve seen a movie poster or a billboard in the last 10 years there’s a good chance he was involved in its creation.

John has worked professionally in photography for 30 years. He is a black belt in Photoshop, which he began using at its initial release 20 years ago as he realized it would permanently change the world of photography.

He spends the greater part of his days at Studio Photo Imaging in Hollywood blending artistic and technical imaging expertise to provide useful answers and practical information for photographers and artists.
