SEMINAR
SEEING THE WORLD THROUGH A LEICA RANGEFINDER VIEWFINDER: The Magic of the Rangefinder Experience With JUSTIN STAILEY
Leica will offer a free seminar to registered attendees on what makes photographing with a rangefinder camera special. For over 50 years documentary photographers and photojournalists have relied on Leica rangefinder cameras to get close to their subjects, photograph unobtrusively and remain unnoticed. Find out why Cartier-Bresson referred to the Leica as the extension of his eye. Discover what makes rangefinder photography so different and why the images captured with a rangefinder are different. Rangefinder photography transforms the photographer from a disconnected observer to a participant via simple manual control and the viewfinder.
